What's Stephen Francis said made perfect sense. 100% agree with him. This guy is not addressing what Francis is saying about the peaking and the timing. It will take time to peak, bearing that in mind and organizing the meet so that these athletes at their peak would get the chance to qualify to represent Jamaica, is the simple issue. I always have a lot of respect for Stephen Francis but he is talking out of the 2 sides of his mouth now. First he said that they should try to get the 4x400 team qualified by even paying other teams from other nations to compete against our team. Now he is saying that the prospect of medalling is slim and that it is not worthwhile to pursue this. I don't respect that. He is now sounding like he just wants something to complain about.

Since Riley is in an administration position, he should stick to talking about administration. He is the pompous ass to dare to infer he can coach on the level of Franno. It's not about certifications or PHD's in exercise science. The planet has lots of people with those qualifications, that have not been able to produce medalists at the Olympics and world championships. I can't even think of more than five coaches alive on the planet now, who have a coaching resume close to Stephen Francis.
